Our premium monk shoe is made in our artisan factory in Le March Italy. The formal design has clean lines with a row of laser cut detail sweeping around the front of the shoe. The three-hole adjustable single strap overlays the tongue, fastened with an antique brass buckle. The calf leather is finished in a dark tan; layer after layer of dye is applied by hand to create a real depth of colour, and then meticulously polished and antique finished, again, by hand. The upper has a piped topline and is fully lined in calf leather. We’ve chosen a slightly squared last to complement the clean styling and Blake stitched the upper to a leather sole with a closed channel to conceal the stitch.
